Standard Compensation Plan
Bonus commission programs are available for volume producers
Online Sales/Save Rate Hotel Inventory:
Earn up to 10% commission for online Save Rate (also known as Hot Rate) bookings, PLUS additional revenue when you add our exclusive OPTI-FEES. The average commission payment follows 30 days after checkout
date.
Online Sales/Preferred Rate Hotel Inventory:
Earn up to 7% commission for online Preferred Rate bookings, PLUS additional revenue when you add our exclusive OPTI-FEES. The average commission payment follows 30 days after checkout
date.
Online Sales/Published Rate Hotel Inventory:
Earn 50% of the total gross commissions paid to WCT. Gross commission
means the total commission amount received by WCT from the travel
suppliers and its hotel reservation suppliers less refunds, cancellation
and collection fees. Earn additional profit by utilizing our exclusive
OPTI-FEE service fee. Commissions are paid in U.S. dollars no sooner
than 30 days after checkout date from the hotel. The average commission
payment follows 30 to 90 days after checkout date.
Customer Call Center Sales/Save Rate Hotel Inventory:
Earn a 5% commission amounting to 5% of the total net sales, less
refunds and cancellations. The average commission payment follows
30 days after checkout date.
Customer Call Center Sales/Preferred Rate Hotel Inventory:
Earn a 4% commission amounting to 4% of the total net sales, less
refunds and cancellations. The average commission payment follows
30 days after checkout date.
Customer Call Center Sales/Published Rate Hotel Inventory:
Earn 30% of the total gross commissions paid to WCT. Gross commission
means the total commission amount received by WCT from the travel
suppliers and its hotel reservation suppliers less refunds, cancellation
and collection fees. Commissions are paid in U.S. dollars no sooner
than 30 days after checkout date from hotel. The average commission
payment follows 30 to 90 days after checkout date.
Added Income From OPTI-FEE:
WCT offers OPTI-FEE, the industry's exclusive, fully flexible service
fee program. OPTI-FEE helps WCT partners increase profitability
and overall success by giving them the option to add nightly (or
per booking) transaction fees to all online hotel bookings.
WCT partners have the ability to select the option that works best
for their own business. The available options are:
- Charge NO OPTI-FEES
- Charge OPTI-FEES on ONLINE NON-COMMISSIONABLE RATES and those
hotel chains that pay below average commission
- Charge OPTI-FEES on ALL ONLINE RESERVATIONS
The partner may elect to charge OPTI-FEES using WCT's standard default
schedule, or may create a customized fee schedule. The minimum OPTI-FEE
that can be charged when using a customized fee schedule is $1.75
per night, and the maximum allowable charge is $30.00 per transaction.
WCT OPTI-FEE default schedule for online hotel bookings:
$1.75 per night on bookings less than $79.99 per night
$2.75 per night on bookings between $80.00 and $119.99 per night
$3.75 per night on bookings higher than $120.00 per night
* Fees are capped at $15.00 per booking
Example (default schedule): If a customer books 2 nights @ $110.00
per night, then a fee of $2.75 per night will be charged, amounting
to a total service fee of $5.50. OPTI-FEES will be charged to the
customer's credit card at the time of booking and will appear on the
customer's credit card with the name of your business (which can be customized in our Partner Support Center) or website.
WCT will share 50% of the OPTI-FEE with you after deducting an equal
split of the merchant fee charged by the credit card company. Since
adding our exclusive OPTI-FEE feature, WCT partners are reporting
revenue increases as high as 33% per month!
Online Sales:
Earn up to 5% of the net gross sales on completed online transactions.
Last Minute Deal purchases typically average $540, which equates to
$27 per sale paid to the partner.
Offline Sales (phone bookings):
Earn up to 3% of the net gross sales.
Online Sales:
Earn up to 5% of the net gross sales on completed online transactions.
Offline Sales (phone bookings):
Earn up to 3% of the net gross sales.
Online Sales:
The partner receives 50% of net commission received by WCT.
The average payout amounts to 5% of the net sale to the partner.
Added Income From OPTI-FEE:
In addition to our exclusive OPTI-FEE program for online hotel bookings,
WCT also gives its partners the ability to add a transaction
fee to all online car rental bookings.
WCT OPTI-FEE default schedule for car rental bookings:
$2.99 per booking for economy cars
$4.99 per booking for intermediate cars
$6.99 per booking for luxury cars, minivans and SUVs
WCT will share 50% of the OPTI-FEE with you after deducting an equal
split of the merchant fee charged by the credit card company.
All Bookings:
Earn generous commissions on online sales and Call Center sales, minus taxes and port charges. Commissions are paid in U.S. dollars no sooner than 30 days after the cruise is completed. Our commission rates for cruises are among the highest in the industry.
Online Sales With E-Tickets:
Earn 40% of all base fees collected on the sale of air tickets.
Current fee schedule:
$5.00 on domestic US flights
$10.00 on international flights
Added Income From OPTI-FEE:
As an added source of revenue, WCT Partners may add OPTI-FEES for any amount per traveler up to a maximum of $100 per trip. The default OPTI-FEE is set at $5 per ticket and partners receive 40% of all OPTI-FEES collected.
Flight Protection Insurance is available for purchase during the booking process. Partners receive a commission of $2.00 per person on purchases of Flight Protection Plans that originate and terminate within the United States and $4.00 per passenger on purchases of Flight Protection Plans that originate in the United States and terminate outside the United States.
Online Sales With Tickets & Attractions:
Earn 40% of the commission collected on each ticket sale.
Online Reservation Rewards Signups:
Earn $5 commission for each signup for the Reservation Rewards customer loyalty program.
